Flickr is a great resource that teachers/librarians can utilize to teach lessons. This a great site that students can use to look for images about a particular subject. Without having to worry about copyright laws the use of the Flickr Creative Commons site can be used in the classroom setting.
Here is an image that I searched in the Common site, a photograph of the alphabet and numbers (something I use everyday in my Kindergarten classroom).
